Concept of Ware

There are four types of ware

1. Hardware
2. Software
3. Firmware
4. Live ware

Hardware: It is a physical component part of computer by which we can see and touch very easily is called computer hardware.

1. Input Device
2. Process Device
3. Output Device

Software: It is a program which lives in memory we can not see it without power on the computer we can not touch it we can only work on it.

It creates relation sheep between human & machine.

1. Utility
2. Application
3. System

A). Utility: it is a program by which we can improve our memory & protect virus.

B). Application: There are two types of Application software

     (i)   Standard – It create by company for multipurpose Like Office, Corel,    Photoshop, tally etc.

     (ii)  User – It create by some people for special purpose. Like Mart (Big bazar) Software, Petrol Tank Software, Medical store software etc.

 C). System : by which we can operate or translate the computer.

                                (i) DBMS (Data Base management system) Like Excel, Fox Pro

                                (ii) RDBMS (Relation DBMS) Like SQL, Oracle, Sap etc)

                                (iii) Operator – There are two

                                                a). Single Operator (one program operate by one people)

                                                     Like window, dos etc

                                                b). Multi Operator (one Program operate by many peoples)

                                                     Like Linux, window NT, UNIX etc                                            

                                (iv) Translator – It convert High Level to Low level Language means our language to Machine language

                                                a)        Assemble Language (X)

                                                b)       Interpreter Language (it work line by line high level to

                                                                                           low level Language)

                                                c)        Compiler ( it create in company it take Large amount

                                                                          in memory it is 25 times faster than interpreter)

Firmware:  It is a program which lives in ROM IC (BIOS IC). It is a starter of computer means their have some booting file of computer like command.com, io.sys, Autoexec.com etc

Live ware: we are Live ware means human is live ware.
